A Soldiers Best Friend:
By my side watching my back,
As I tread carefully along the track.
My sniffer dog Ben he’s called,
Stops me dead and proceeds to crawl.

A bomb detective a soldier to admire,
One that’s brave in the face of fire.
My job made easier everyday,
Because of his diligence along the way.

A soldier’s dog trained to detect,
A brave soldier we truly respect.
Four legged warriors treading the ground,
Soldiers beside them searching all round.
